Field Sales Executive in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

Recruit4staff are representing a growing Environmental Services business in their search for a Field Sales Executive to work in Nottinghamshire. 

Job Details: 

• Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE plus uncapped commission
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Company Car, Mobile Phone, Laptop, Standard Pension, 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service), Uncapped Commission

Job Role: The successful Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities across Nottinghamshire, promoting commercial waste and environmental services to prospective customers. Working autonomously within a designated territory, the role involves identifying new opportunities through cold calling, door knocking, networking, and customer referrals. The Field Sales Executive will conduct site visits, understand customer requirements, prepare quotations and proposals, and secure new contracts. You will also carry out market research, qualify prospective customers, monitor competitor activity, and maintain accurate sales records. This opportunity would suit a driven Field Sales Executive who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and delivering results in a competitive B2B environment. 

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a B2B field sales role focused on winning new business
• Proven success with cold calling, prospecting, door-to-door sales, and closing deals
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
• Good IT literacy and experience using CRM systems
• Full UK Driving Licence 

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: 

• Previous experience within a competitive B2B sales environment
• Experience selling waste management, environmental services, hygiene services, office supplies, EPOS, or similar commercial services
• Strong business development and account acquisition background
• Knowledge of the commercial waste sector
