What you will do

• Act as the Children’s Guardian in family court proceedings, ensuring children’s welfare and best interests are central to all decisions.
• Carry out comprehensive safeguarding assessments and risk analyses to inform court recommendations.
• Prepare high‑quality Section 7 and Section 37 reports for submission to the court.
• Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations to judges and contribute to key family court decisions.
• Work directly with children and families to understand their experiences, wishes, and feelings.
• Collaborate effectively with local authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
• Present evidence and professional opinion during court hearings as required.
• Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with organisational and statutory standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory frameworks, including the Children Act.
