KPI Education are working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Camden to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teacher for a full-time role.

This is a school where the Early Years Foundation Stage is highly valued. Children are encouraged to explore, play, question, and develop confidence through a rich, engaging, and carefully planned learning environment. Classrooms are purposeful and stimulating, with a strong focus on communication, language development, early literacy, and social skills.

The Role

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Framework.
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that supports child-led learning.
  • Develop early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Observe, assess, and track pupil progress using EYFS frameworks.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support early learning journeys.
  • Work collaboratively with EYFS staff, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.
  • Contribute to continuous provision and outdoor learning opportunities.
  • Support transition into Key Stage 1 effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a reflective and passionate EYFS practitioner who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it (ECTs and PGCE students welcome).
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development.
  • Is confident delivering phonics and early numeracy.
  • Can create a warm, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Has high expectations for all children’s progress and development.
  • Is creative, organised, and adaptable in their approach.
  • Brings energy, patience, and enthusiasm to Early Years teaching.
