Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering and manufacturing business in their search for an Estimator to work in Flintshire

Job Details:

• Pay: £40,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, discretionary bonus scheme based on company performance

Job Role: The Estimator will be responsible for visiting customer sites, assessing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and production requirements. The Estimator will create competitive bids and quotations, liaise with customers regarding project specifications and support the successful delivery of engineering and fabrication projects. This Estimator position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of manufacturing and engineering projects within a well-established business.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an Estimator
• Background in welding, fabrication, sheet metal or a similar engineering discipline
• Strong understanding of cost estimation within engineering and manufacturing environments
• Ability to prepare detailed project quotations and labour cost estimates
• Good communication and customer-facing skills for site visits and project discussions
