What you will do:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for children and young people (0-25) to inform Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and statutory EHC Plans, ensuring targeted and effective support.
- Collaboratively work with parents, carers, teachers, and Special Educational Needs Coordinators to problem-solve and implement evidence-based interventions, fostering collective success.
- Partner with health and social care professionals, CAMHS, speech and language therapists, and social workers to provide unified, holistic support.
- Design and deliver training packages for school staff, contribute to policy development, and support schools through changes, enhancing the educational landscape.
- Apply psychological research methods to evaluate interventions' effectiveness and contribute to the Local Authority's traded services model, driving evidence-based practice.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards with the HCPC and BPS Code of Ethics, engaging in regular supervision and CPD to enhance your professional journey.
