Driver in Brize Norton, South East

VGC Group are currently recruiting for an experienced General Driver to join a project based in OX18, Oxford.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working driver looking for work, with consistent weekday hours and the potential for weekend work.

We are looking for someone who can start promptly, work well as part of a team, and support site operations to help keep the project running safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: £17.38 per hour PAYE


As a General Driver on site, your responsibilities may include:

• Safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from site
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are maintained in good condition
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting site teams with general duties when required
• Ensuring compliance with all site and road safety regulations
• Planning routes and managing time efficiently to meet site requirements
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Carrying out any other duties as required to support site operations

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid full UK driving licence
• Previous experience working as a driver, ideally within a construction environmen
• A good work ethic and positive attitude
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Good punctuality and reliability
