Ce&i Engineer in Cumbria, Cumbria

Join a dynamic engineering team where your expertise in Control, Electrical & Instrumentation design will play a key role in delivering complex industrial projects.
Our Client has a requirement for a CE&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Cumbria.
Role Purpose:
- Ensure design deliverables are effectively planned, coordinated and completed in line with relevant standards.
- Work closely with project teams and multidisciplinary engineering functions.
- Liaise regularly with onsite electrical, construction teams and subcontractors.
- Efficiently manage personal workload whilst providing support and guidance to apprentices.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of ongoing engineering projects.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Produce and coordinate CE&I design deliverables in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Collaborate daily with project teams, engineering disciplines, construction personnel and subcontractors.
- Support the planning and execution of engineering activities to agreed schedules.
- Manage workload effectively to ensure project requirements are met.
- Assist in the development and mentoring of apprentices where required.
- Attend site as required to support project activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a CE&I Engineer.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
- Proficient in the use of Amtech.
- Strong document writing and technical reporting skills.
- Emergency lighting design experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Ability to attend site as and when required.
- Access to office facilities for project delivery requirements.
- Ideally capable of working autonomously when attending operational plant environments.
