Care Assistant (Drivers with Car) – £14.12/hr + mileage – Wallsend & Shiremoor

Routes Healthcare is hiring Care Assistants with a car to support people in their own homes across Wallsend and Shiremoor.

This is not agency work — you’ll be part of our care team, supporting clients and building real relationships.

Pay & Travel

• £14.12 per hour (including holiday pay)

• 30p per mile paid between clients

• Monthly pay

• Referral bonus up to £250

⏰ Shifts to Fit Your Life

We offer:

• 7am – 3pm / 3pm – 10pm or 7am - 10pm

• Full-time & part-time options

• Work set shifts based on your availability

• Local runs in Wallsend & Shiremoor – no long-distance driving

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support people in their own homes with:

• Personal care (always with dignity & respect)

• Medication support

• Meals and daily routines

• Companionship and reassurance

Some clients need higher levels of care — but you’ll be trained and fully supported.

You’ll never be left on your own — we have a 24/7 on-call support team.
