Job Purpose:

To provide efficient, effective, and confidential administrative and business support to the service area, contributing to the smooth operation of the team. You will play a part in delivering high-quality services to the residents of Wrexham County Borough.

What you will do:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, managing calls, emails, and correspondence professionally
- Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions
- Process invoices, orders, and payments adhering to council procedures
- Maintain accurate databases and management information systems
- Assist with reports, letters, and documentation preparation
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality compliance
- Support colleagues to manage workloads effectively
- Use a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying and scanning
- Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager

- Experience in an administrative or office-based role

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
