What you will do:

• Manage an active caseload and complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and treatment plans across the borough of Redbridge.

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions to patients with a new stroke diagnosis, focusing on community rehabilitation.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, applying up-to-date stroke rehabilitation guidelines to achieve patient-centred goals.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills to support effective patient management.

• Order and recommend appropriate equipment to maximise patient independence and quality of life.

Requirements:

• Registration: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.

• Experience: Proven experience working with stroke patients in a community or rehabilitation setting.

• Driving: Must be a confident driver due to community-based work requirements.
