An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Physiotherapist specialising in CMATS Spinal within the AHP Physiotherapy team in Rhyl. This ongoing locum position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time working arrangements, along with a competitive hourly rate of £31.00.

In this dynamic role, you will work with complex spinal cases, including both acute and routine spinal issues. Your expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy, particularly in spinal care, will be crucial. You will use your NMR training to refer patients for x-rays and MRIs, providing high-quality care and treatment. Your clinical knowledge and practical experience in Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment services will help enhance patient outcomes, while your extended scope role will elevate the services offered.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct detailed assessments and provide expert clinical management for patients with acute and routine spinal conditions.

  • Use your NMR training to efficiently refer patients for necessary x-rays and MRIs.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery and proper implementation of treatment plans.

  • Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, continuously assessing their effectiveness and adjusting as necessary.

  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay up-to-date with emerging clinical evidence and best practices.

Requirements

  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.

  • Experience working with complex spinal cases in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

  • NMR training for x-ray and MRI referrals is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Services, as well as primary care and first contact practitioner roles.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
