What you will do:
- Deliver a range of evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions, directly and indirectly, to meet the needs of patients with acute mental health issues.
- Employ strong clinical reasoning to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary team formulation, risk assessment, and risk management.
- Confidently manage complex and sensitive situations with sound professional judgement.
- Supervise staff and support team development, fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture.
- Contribute to service improvement, audits, and the identification of gaps in care to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain safe, structured, and patient-centred therapeutic environments.
- Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team and collaborate with external and third-sector services to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate clearly and document accurately while adhering to clinical governance and Trust policies.
- Adapt to a fast-paced setting with strong organisational skills to manage your workload efficiently.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree and extensive experience in acute mental health and community settings.
- Must be HCPC registered.
- A full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
