What you will do:

- Lead and supervise a local radiotherapy team
- Deliver external beam and sealed source radiotherapy treatments
- Oversee treatment planning and scheduling processes
- Undertake and supervise radiotherapy quality assurance procedures
- Review treatment images and implement image-guided corrections
- Investigate and resolve complex treatment and planning issues
- Provide specialist advice on radiotherapy techniques and imaging
- Coordinate multidisciplinary communication throughout the cancer pathway
- Monitor patient wellbeing throughout radiotherapy treatment
- Maintain RTDS and ARIA records accurately
- Support service development and implementation of new techniques
- Supervise, mentor, and educate junior staff, students, and apprentices
- Deputise for Team Managers and Advanced Therapeutic Radiographers when required

Requirements:
Applicants are required to have a Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Therapy) or a BSc (Hons) in Oncology and Radiotherapy Technology, with HCPC registration. Significant post-graduate experience as a Therapeutic Radiographer and leadership skills are essential to thrive in this role.
Possessing additional qualifications such as a PGCert or PGDip in Oncology & Radiotherapy or related subjects would be advantageous, along with experience in CT planning and dosimetry.
