Here's a wonderful opportunity for a mental health professional to make a significant difference in Harrogate with our Adults Integrated CMHT Team. You will earn £26 per hour as a locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse, working to enhance the lives of individuals living with mental ill health. The position may last a minimum of 6 months, and is likely to be ongoing. Flexible working patterns are embraced, with core hours being from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, there is room for variations such as working 8am to 6pm for four days a week, 8am to 4pm, 9am to 6pm, or even part-time options.

What you will do:

- Improve the lives of people with mental ill health by minimising the impact of their condition through the delivery of outstanding services to promote recovery and well-being.
- Show compassion when meeting the needs of patients and their carers.
- Collaborate with local authority services as part of an integrated community team.
- Act as the lead professional or care co-ordinator when required, ensuring professional accountability and responsibility for patient care.
- Undertake a variety of clinical and therapeutic interventions in patients’ homes and community settings.
- Promote social inclusion, community access, and participation to improve patient care.
- Facilitate team development by providing leadership, supervision, and clinical advice for healthcare professionals and students.
- Be actively involved and take a lead role in activities integral to the Trust’s Quality Improvement System.
- Always promote a positive image of people experiencing mental ill health.
