Job Description: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - Adults Community Mental Health Team, Manchester

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the community while earning £26 per hour? We are seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the Adults Community Mental Health Team in Manchester. This locum position will initially last 3-6 months, but if the placement is successful and the need persists, it will likely continue. Full-time hours are from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. However, we are flexible and open to considering varied working patterns such as 08:00 to 18:00 across four days or alternative shifts. What you will do:

  • Provide expert mental health support and interventions to adults in the community
  • Complete day-to-day and planned interventions allocated from the red zone, responding to contacts via phone and email
  • Collaborate with senior members of the team to deliver high-quality care and address patient needs effectively
  • Utilise your expertise in risk management and strong communication skills to navigate complex cases
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to case discussions and planning
