What You Will Do:

Conduct urgent mental health and risk assessments for children and young people presenting in crisis across community, home, and acute settings.

Develop and implement personalised crisis care and safety plans, ensuring least restrictive interventions.

Deliver brief, evidence-based interventions including DBT-informed, CBT, and solution-focused strategies.

Provide telephone triage and support for urgent referrals into CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment pathways.

Work in partnership with social care, education, acute trusts, police, and voluntary agencies for coordinated care responses.

Participate in risk formulation meetings and care reviews for high-risk service users.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation on Rio, SystmOne, or equivalent EHR systems, adhering to Trust standards.

Join the 24/7 crisis rota, including weekends and evenings, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Offer clinical advice and support to partner agencies managing children and young people in crisis.

Engage in supervision, reflective practice, and professional development to sustain high-quality clinical standards.
