What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage the Family Safeguarding Team, ensuring that children and families receive effective, timely, and coordinated support.

  • Provide professional supervision, mentoring, and development to team members to ensure the highest standards of practice.

  • Oversee complex safeguarding cases, offering expert guidance and decision-making support.

  • Develop and implement improvement strategies that enhance service delivery and outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory duties, local safeguarding policies, and best practice standards.

  • Liaise with external partners and agencies to deliver holistic, multi-agency support to families.

  • Monitor team performance, producing clear and insightful reports to inform service planning and development.
