Locum Occupational Therapist Band 5/6 in Acute Team, Sutton Coldfield UK, earning £21-£26 per hour assignment rate. Full-time ongoing position, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Acute Team in Sutton Coldfield. Whether you're an experienced Band 5 ready to advance, or a seasoned Band 6 professional, this role offers you the opportunity to really make a difference in patient care. You'll be working primarily in Healthcare for Older People (HCOP) and General Medicine, with the possibility of involvement in admission avoidance, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Stroke, and Rehabilitation.

What you will do:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine individual needs and create effective treatment plans.
- Implement strategies for treatment, discharge planning, and patient flow maintenance within the acute hospital environment.
- Provide critical support in routine acute hospital duties, striving for excellence in patient care delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for elderly patients, as well as those in general medical wards and other specialties as needed.
- Use your expert knowledge to ensure effective rehabilitation and support for patients recovering from strokes or who are involved in trauma and orthopedic care.
