What You Will Do

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency within the Mortuary Department through daily cleaning, disinfection, and administration duties.

• Clean, sterilise, and maintain equipment, reporting any issues to the Mortuary Manager promptly.

• Support the identification process for police and relatives with professionalism and sensitivity.

• Ensure all authorised religious rites are respected and appropriately facilitated.

• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota supporting HM Coroner and the Trust.

• Provide advice and assistance to funeral directors on mortuary-related matters when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience within a similar specialism.

• HCPC registration is essential.

• A valid driving licence is desirable for travel between sites.
