We are recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice in Derby city centre, working 2 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist looking for a busy mixed practice offering a competitive and negotiable UDA rate, excellent private earning potential and, just as importantly, a genuinely supportive and down-to-earth working environment.

The practice offers an approximately 50/50 mix of NHS and private dentistry, giving the successful Associate a balanced patient list with plenty of opportunity to develop their private income and clinical interests.

The Principal Dentist has been established at the practice for over 20 years and has created a friendly, open and approachable environment where clinicians and the wider team are treated with respect and supported to deliver high-quality dentistry.

About the Practice

You will be joining an established mixed NHS and private dental practice in central Derby, providing a comprehensive range of general and private dentistry.

The practice has invested in modern equipment, digital technology and high-quality materials, giving clinicians an excellent environment in which to provide high-quality patient care.

A particular benefit of this opportunity is the support of an experienced Clinical Dental Technician for denture work, while the Associate Dentist receives the associated UDAs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified and GDC registered Dentist
• Valid NHS Performer Number
• Previous UK dental practice experience
• Right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team
• Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
