Are you an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner looking for an exciting locum opportunity in Barnsley? This is your chance to join Barnsley Children's Services as a Non Case Holding practitioner in SEND Services, offering £37.00 hourly for a three-month role. This full-time position is perfect for someone with significant experience in children's safeguarding services and who has previously worked with children with disabilities at a senior practitioner level. Your expertise will be crucial in driving service developments and focusing on key areas within Barnsley’s children with disabilities service.

What you will do:
- Work closely with the Designated Social Care Officer to implement essential training
- Collaborate in co-production with parents, carers, children, and young people
- Assist in the co-development of Social Care and SEND services
- Contribute to the establishment of the new Barnsley short breaks team
- Liaise with health, SEND, social care, and other partners across the SEND landscape
- Apply your knowledge of children's legislation, including the SEND code of practice and education law to ensure legal compliance
- Bring your initiative and time management skills to complete projects within tight timescales
