What you will do:

  • Directly manage and supervise a small team of qualified and non-social work professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective case management

  • Handle a caseload of complex and challenging cases, providing impactful interventions

  • Support the Team Manager in maintaining and enhancing professional standards across the Assessment Team

  • Apply specialist social work knowledge with children and families to improve service outcomes and contribute to local strategic initiatives

  • Lead skill-building initiatives within the team, offering coaching, consultation, and mentoring on practice issues, including evidence-based interventions and analytical assessments

  • Participate in team development and recruitment, supporting the growth and capability of the Assessment Team
