Pay Rate: £29.51 per hour PAYE / £40.00 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Temporary
Duration: 26 weeks
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting for experienced Advanced Practitioners to join a busy Children’s Social Work team based in Grantham.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled social workers who are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families through positive interventions. You will manage cases from initial referral through to completion, ensuring continuity and consistency for children and their families throughout the process.
The role involves working across a diverse caseload, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings, while completing high-quality assessments and reports for both private and public law proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments of children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified.
• Manage a caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings.
• Undertake direct work with children, young people, and their families to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
• Prepare comprehensive assessments, care plans, and court reports to support decision-making.
• Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions, and court hearings.
• Ensure all case recording is accurate, up to date, and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Maintain continuity by managing cases throughout the child’s journey from referral to closure.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective interventions and safeguarding outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
• Social Work England registration.
• Qualified Social Worker status with a recognised social work qualification.
• Significant post-qualification experience within children’s services.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding frameworks, and court processes.
• Experience managing Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings cases.
• Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage a complex caseload effectively and work autonomously.
