What you will do

• Complete comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks of vulnerable adults, ensuring appropriate safeguarding interventions are in place.
• Develop and implement person-centred care and safeguarding plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
• Advocate for the rights, wellbeing, and independence of adults, ensuring their voices remain central to decision-making.
• Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues, partner organisations, and community stakeholders on adult safeguarding matters.
• Manage a varied caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working within Adult Social Care, ideally in safeguarding services.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, the Care Act 2014, and relevant statutory guidance.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment and manage competing priorities.
