Key Responsibilities

Act as the initial point of contact for Children’s Social Care, providing expert triage and screening for incoming support requests.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to direct referrals appropriately and ensure a coordinated approach to child safeguarding.
Apply your in-depth understanding of statutory children’s social work legislation and processes to deliver informed, timely decisions.
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports while maintaining data integrity within systems such as Mosaic or ICS.
Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and teamwork in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in statutory children’s social work.
A strong understanding of child safeguarding procedures and legislation.
Experience using children’s services data systems such as Mosaic or ICS.
Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
