What you will do:

- Conduct specialist and urgent mental health assessments, including evaluating risk, self-harm, and crisis situations for children and young people.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, groups, or families, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and family therapy.
- Manage medium-to-high-risk caseloads, ensuring thorough safety and risk management plans are in place to secure the wellbeing of clients.
- Provide professional and clinical supervision to junior clinicians, trainees, or students, while deputising for team leaders or managers when required.
- Participate in and contribute to service improvements, governance, audits, and research projects to elevate the quality of care provided.
- Liaise and collaborate effectively with various services including schools, social services, primary care, and the voluntary sector, ensuring a coordinated approach to client care.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, maintaining professional registration and accurate clinical documentation.
