What you will do:
- Engage with children and families following their transfer from the Referral and Assessment Service, providing effective care and safeguarding interventions.
- Develop and implement Child in Need or Child Protection Plans, ensuring all actions support the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including health, education, and law enforcement professionals, to support family units and create comprehensive care strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of children and family needs, adapting plans as circumstances change.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local authority protocols.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to less experienced social workers, fostering a knowledge-sharing and supportive environment within the team.
