What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality CAMHS mental health liaison at the local acute general hospital.

  • Support children and young people with complex mental health presentations in community settings, including schools and homes.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing complex risk and emotional needs.

  • Provide NICE-guided assessments and interventions for eating disorders and related conditions.

  • Lead as a key worker for referred cases while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Implement evidence-based therapies, including CBT and DBT, for anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation.

  • Manage follow-up care for discharged patients and oversee high-risk case management.


Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with mental health expertise, Social Worker, or similar professional background.

  • Current HCPC registration.

  • Experience within CAMHS, community CAMHS, or Hospital Liaison roles.

  • Valid driving licence.
