What You Will Do:
- Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and treatments to substance-dependent individuals, working collaboratively with HM Prison Service and stakeholders.
- Maintain and monitor nursing care standards in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct.
- Provide leadership and occasionally take on managerial duties when necessary.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage interventions for service users.
- Implement, review, and document patient care plans effectively.
Role Overview:
You'll provide critical nursing care and substance misuse interventions to service users in West London. As a senior nurse, you will ensure care meets the highest standards while guiding less experienced staff. You're the linchpin in fostering a supportive and rehabilitative environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Nurse.
- Desirable qualifications include a Mentorship Qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Substance Misuse.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years post-registration experience.
- Knowledge of medication administration and compliance with the NMC Code of Conduct is essential.
- Desirable: Experience in secure environments or recovery modes.
