Overview

An exciting locum opportunity is available for a Qualified Social Worker within the Adults First Contact Team in Stockton-on-Tees. This ongoing role offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to balance office-based duties with home working once training is complete.

You will play a pivotal role in triaging Adult Safeguarding alerts, determining progression to Section 42 investigations, and collaborating closely with clients, referrers, and the wider safeguarding team to ensure effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage Adult Safeguarding alerts using relevant legislation, guidance, and best practice frameworks.

• Determine the need for progression to a Section 42 Investigation within the Adult Safeguarding Team.

• Collaborate with referrers, clients, and multi-agency partners to implement proportionate safeguarding measures.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.

• Initially work from Dunedin House, with the opportunity to transition to a flexible hybrid working model.
