Overview
An exciting locum opportunity is available for a Qualified Social Worker within the Adults First Contact Team in Stockton-on-Tees. This ongoing role offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to balance office-based duties with home working once training is complete.
You will play a pivotal role in triaging Adult Safeguarding alerts, determining progression to Section 42 investigations, and collaborating closely with clients, referrers, and the wider safeguarding team to ensure effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Triage Adult Safeguarding alerts using relevant legislation, guidance, and best practice frameworks.

Determine the need for progression to a Section 42 Investigation within the Adult Safeguarding Team.

Collaborate with referrers, clients, and multi-agency partners to implement proportionate safeguarding measures.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.

Initially work from Dunedin House, with the opportunity to transition to a flexible hybrid working model.
