Social Worker – MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)
Location: Torquay
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £40 per hour

Seven Resourcing are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the MASH Team in Torquay. This is a full-time, temporary role offering £40 per hour.

In this role, you will work as part of a fast-paced, multi-agency team to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns for children and young people. You will be responsible for screening referrals, analysing information from multiple sources, and making informed decisions to ensure the safety and welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:

• Triage and assess incoming referrals to identify safeguarding risks.

• Gather and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.

• Make recommendations for further intervention, assessment, or support where required.

• Ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.

• Maintain accurate and detailed case records.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals across partner organisations.

Applicant Requirements of the Social Worker:

• Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).

• Registration with Social Work England.

• Proven post-qualified experience in a MASH, duty, or assessment team.

• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and threshold frameworks.

• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Enhanced DBS check.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
