Social Worker – Assessment & Intervention Team
Location: Torquay
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £40 per hour

Seven Resourcing are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team in Torquay. This is a full-time, temporary position offering £40 per hour.

In this role, you will work as part of a supportive and dynamic team, undertaking assessments and interventions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and families. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, completing high-quality assessments, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:

• Undertake child and family assessments, ensuring decisions are made in the best interests of the child.

• Develop and implement care and intervention plans that promote positive change and safeguard children.

• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies.

• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective multi-agency support.

• Maintain accurate and timely case records.

• Contribute to team discussions and the development of best practice.

Applicant Requirements of the Social Worker:

• Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).

• Registration with Social Work England.

• Post-qualified experience in children and families social work, ideally within assessment and intervention.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.

• Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.

• Enhanced DBS check.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
