Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: Upto £40,000 per annum 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours/week)

Shift: Day shift

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Bristol. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities for the electrical maintenace engineer:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and safe manner
• Work with control gear, PLC systems, and motor drives (AC & DC)
• Carry out electrical installation and commissioning tasks
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations

Requirements for the electrical maintenance engineer:

• Strong electrical background with experience in industrial maintenance
• Sound knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Experience with PLCs, control panels, and motor drive systems
• Electrical installation experience essential
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic is an advantage
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ideally based in or near Bristol
