What you will do:
- Provide expert care to young people experiencing mental health crises, helping them remain at home as an alternative to hospital admission.
- Conduct thorough assessments of risk and create safety and care plans with young people and their families.
- Utilise clinical skills and judgement to deliver effective interventions that manage crisis periods.
- Collaborate closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to plan further interventions when necessary.
- Manage your caseload from initial contact through to discharge, ensuring a seamless care experience.
- Gain diverse knowledge from all areas of the wider CAMHS service to enrich your professional practice.

Main duties of the job:
This role requires providing care to young people experiencing a mental health crisis. You'll join a 24-hour, 365-day service operating within a shift system, including occasional weekend and on-call duties. Generous enhancements are provided for these shifts. You will assess risk and formulate comprehensive safety and care plans in collaboration with children, young people, and their families.
