What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying individual needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
- Plan and implement minor and major home adaptations to improve safety and enhance functionality within clients' everyday environments.
- Perform detailed manual handling assessments, ensuring all practices align with safety guidelines and legal requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and execute personalised support plans.
- Keep detailed and accurate records to maintain the highest standards of professional and legal compliance.

Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Have recent experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist in the UK, ideally within the NHS.
- Must be registered with the HCPC.
