Exciting Opportunity: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Community Care in Hull, UK. What you will do:
- Independently manage a specialist adult voice caseload with precision and expert care.
- Utilize your strong knowledge and experience delivering voice therapy, including advanced techniques like the Accent method.
- Engage with clients in both clinical settings, primarily based at Highlands Health Centre for local work, and potentially use remote platforms such as Systmone.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver personalised treatment plans.
- Assess, diagnose and implement effective speech and language interventions for adults in the community.
- Maintain accurate records in line with NHS and HCPC standards.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy, along with HCPC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in the UK/NHS in a post-qualifying role as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Proven track record in independently managing adult voice caseloads.
- Evidence of completed courses related to voice therapy enhancement.
- Full membership with RCSLT as well as current HCPC registration.
- Ideally, possess IT System experience with platforms like Systmone for potential remote work.
