Adults' Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team in Newham, earning £34 hourly, full-time for 3 months

What you will do:

  • Conduct strength-based assessments to identify the needs of adult service users with learning disabilities.
  • Develop person-centred support plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Facilitate long-term support arrangements and regularly review these to ensure continued efficiency and suitability.
  • Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments to ensure clients' needs and rights are fully considered.
  • Engage in Court of Protection work, advocating for your clients' best interests.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team providing efficient and personalised services to adults, carers, and families, ensuring key objectives and quality standards are met.
