This is a 2.5-day post that requires management level experience in social work as well as experience in chairing child protection conferences and children looked after reviews. What you will do:
- Chair child protection conferences and ensure that children's safety and well-being are prioritized.
- Lead and oversee reviews for children in care, ensuring their needs and wishes are met and considered.
- Implement and monitor protection plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to social workers and other professionals involved in safeguarding.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation throughout the child protection process.
- Ensure that all cases comply with current legislation and best practices in safeguarding children.

Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services, working as a qualified Social Worker.
