Graduate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

Location: Ealing, West London
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only until July 2025
Pay: Up to £650 per week

The Role

As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
• Work closely with the SEN team and external speech and language therapists
• Run small group and 1:1 interventions to build communication and social skills
• Support students in lessons to develop vocabulary, comprehension and expressive language
• Track progress and celebrate every milestone with students

This is an ideal role for graduates who are considering careers in speech and language therapy, educational psychology, or teaching.

What We’re Looking For

• A graduate with a strong academic background (linguistics, psychology, education or related fields are ideal)
• A natural communicator who’s patient, positive and empathetic
• A team player who’s eager to learn and make a difference
• Experience working with young people or SEND (desirable but not essential)
