 The Role – Biology Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Biology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support in Biology and Science across KS3–KS5
• Assist students with exam preparation (GCSEs and A-Levels) and stretch high achievers aiming for top grades
• Work alongside experienced science teachers and gain first-hand classroom experience
• Build confidence, leadership skills, and teaching techniques
• Explore teacher training pathways from September 2026

 About You  - Biology Graduate Teaching Assistant

• A recent Biology graduate (2:1 or above) – or related field such as Biomedical Science, Natural Sciences, or Life Sciences
• A clear communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about inspiring young people
• Ideally some experience in tutoring, mentoring, or youth engagement (desirable but not essential)
