What you will do:

  • Actively participate as a key member of the clinical team, providing a comprehensive specialist service to children.

  • Take charge of your caseload, assessing, treating, and documenting patient progress autonomously in line with professional standards.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with referring services, enhancing understanding of the role of speech and language therapy.

  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

  • Deliver treatment in a variety of community settings, including clinics, schools, nurseries, and homes.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to audits and research to elevate service quality.

  • Participate in the Single Assessment Process, coordinating with agencies to share essential information in compliance with Trust Guidelines.
