What you will do:
- Provide high-quality assessments and interventions for children and young people to address areas of communication need
- Develop and implement multidisciplinary therapeutic plans of support that meet EHCP requirements
- Collaborate closely with the Multidisciplinary Clinical Team, educational staff, and external agencies to maintain a trauma-informed practice and therapeutic environment
- Offer training and guidance to staff and engage with parents and carers as a key part of the support network
- Innovate in child-centred interventions that go beyond traditional approaches, including outside-the-box strategies to meet individual needs
- Act as a role model for other clinicians by demonstrating best practices in Speech and Language Therapy
Applicants should possess a degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy and hold HCPC registration, with post-qualifying experience in the UK or with the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist.
