What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of children and young people.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies addressing a range of social, emotional, mental health, and cognitive needs.
- Collaborate with educational and residential teams to enhance our therapeutic practice model focused on complex trauma, neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs.
- Mentor and supervise junior psychologists, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
- Engage actively with external agencies, parents, and carers to maximise support for the young people in our care.
- Provide training and guidance to staff, enhancing their ability to support the children and young people effectively.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration and accredited membership with the BACP.
- Proven experience in CAMHS, Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology.
- Relevant experience working in the UK.
