What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored therapeutic formulations for children and young people
- Write detailed reports either individually or as part of a multidisciplinary team, which reflect assessment, progress, and outcomes
- Design evidence-based programmes of intervention and formally evaluate their impact and outcomes
- Foster professional relationships with home and school staff, ensuring communication and collaboration are seamless
- Provide training sessions to educational and care staff, enhancing their skills in supporting mental health and well-being
- Play an integral role in organizing and facilitating child-focused meetings, ensuring the collaborative effort of all involved parties
Requirements of the Psychologist:
- Must hold HCPC registration as a Psychologist
- Should be a registered and accredited member of the BACP, with significant experience working as a Psychologist in the UK
- Prior experience with CAMHS, clinical, counselling, or forensic settings is highly desirable
