What you will do:
- Lead and manage the provision of field social work services to the local community.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
- Provide direct social work services to children in need and their families, focusing on child protection.
- Support and supervise social workers within your team, enabling them to achieve professional objectives.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support for families.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- A degree or equivalent in social work, such as CQSW, DIPSW, BA HONS SW.
- At least three years of post-qualifying experience in a field social work setting, with substantial child protection experience.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent managerial experience, such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager, with significant frontline experience in Children's Services.
