About the Role – Graduate Science Academic Mentor
As a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you’ll provide tailored academic support to students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering focused 1:1 and small group interventions to boost student progress.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging, curriculum-based science lessons.
- Supporting pupils who may need extra guidance with scientific concepts or lab work.
- Helping to run revision clubs, science enrichment sessions, and after-school interventions.
- Collaborating with teaching, SEN, and pastoral teams to support a range of learners.
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor, encouraging students to develop a love for science.
Who We’re Looking For – Graduate Science Academic Mentor
We’re keen to hear from passionate graduates who:
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above in a science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Natural Sciences).
- Have strong academic credentials (GCSEs and A-Levels).
