Job Details:

• Pay: £12.50 per hour
• Hours of Work: Rotational Shifts:
  
  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm
    
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2pm until Midnight
• Duration: Temp to Perm

Job Role: The Workshop Assistant will support various operations within a busy fabrication workshop. Duties include linishing, fettling, sanding, and grinding of steel components, assisting in mechanical assembly, using hand and power tools, operating machinery, and general yard and housekeeping tasks.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Experience using hand & power tools
• Manual handling
• Machine setting and operation experience
• Full UK Drivers Licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• In-date FLT Licence
• C&G/NVQ qualification in an engineering discipline

Additional Information

• Opportunity for candidate to gain up-skilling training as a Welder Fabricator
