Purpose of the Role
Deliver high-quality social work services to adults within the community, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs and disabilities while ensuring statutory compliance and promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Provide timely, effective social work services in line with statutory guidance

Conduct safeguarding assessments, evaluate mental capacity, and manage deprivation of liberty cases

Assess and manage risk, ensuring adherence to the Care Act 2024 principles

Develop and implement comprehensive, strengths-based support plans

Collaborate with individuals, carers, families, and multi-agency teams

Contribute to service objectives and strategic priorities as outlined in the council’s service plan
