Graduate Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

We’re looking for an outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant who holds:

• A 2:1 or above degree from a top-30 University in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, or a related subject
• A strong academic background through GCSE’s and A-Levels
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with secondary students
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people (desirable but not essential)

Graduate Teaching Assistant: Job Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your role responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups, particularly those who need extra guidance to reach their potential
• Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons
