We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join the Bradford Children and Families Trust, supporting the Children In Care Team. This locum role offers £37.00 per hour with flexible full-time or part-time options, including the possibility of hybrid working, allowing a mix of office and home-based work.

Purpose of the Role
To provide advanced oversight and professional support for children in care, focusing on tracking and monitoring care plans, identifying barriers to progression, and ensuring timely interventions to improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Track, review, and monitor care plans for children in care, dedicating one full day per week to this task.

Follow up on actions related to care plans, including liaison with legal services and other stakeholders.

Support accurate projection, planning, and strategy development to improve outcomes for children in care.

Identify barriers to progression and propose effective solutions to overcome them.

Attend team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive care strategies.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).

Registration with Social Work England.

Experience in children’s social care, particularly working with children in care or looked-after children.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex cases.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 & 2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
